Ice Carnival!

Well, it's 10 degrees here in St. Louis. (That's Fahrenheit; minus 12 in Celsius). Perfect weather for the University City Ice Carnival, brought to you by the Delmar Loop Merchants Association! Here are some things you may want to know: 1. Ice is nothing more than frozen water. 2. A can of Red Bull will not freeze solid, but will attain a delightfully slushy state. 3. Be careful if you decide to lick an ice sculpture!

Well, I don't know what you'd want to be doing in St. Louis in January, but tonight was definitely the first time I've ever "seen" a song performed live via cell phone. I felt like I was there! Yet I was, in fact, here. Not here, at my computer, but there. Not there St. Louis, but there Jules Maes Saloon. There. What? I'm tired.

(Can that song make its way over to the secret archives? Pretty please. w/ sugar on top.)

Yeah man. Your performance was the highlight of the night. Don't forget to get your DUDE-penguin when you get back. (ask Kirk.)

It's 6:20 am and I still can't sleep. My body is dead tired but my mind just won't shut off after that show.

Good job on the remote appearance! Everyone loved it. Including the people who don't like anything.

I loved it and I don't like anything.

This photo is strangely biblical in its composition:

The "halo" above Rob's head
The flood imagery
(He is in Saint Louis)
The hubris of thinking you can "lick" God's power...

I mean, think about it.

IS Rob really the messiah?
